Micheal “Mike” Zachary is a Field Representative at Poolson Oden Law Firm. Mike’s primary role is to ensure that all railroaders and their families are welcomed, heard, and supported.
Mike graduated from Lawrence County High School in 1998. After graduating, he immediately started working in various jobs till 2003, when he was hired as a railroad brakeman. In October of the same year, he was promoted to conductor. At that time, Mike worked on a switch engine and later worked for the extra board. He later started working with freight trains which only stopped once or twice on a trip to set out or pick up cars. In 2016. Mike suffered a severe injury at work, which ended his career abruptly. After his injury, Mike started working various jobs, including paper mills, chemical plants, and oil refineries.
Mike joined the Poolson | Oden team in the summer of 2022. He enjoys his new career because he has the opportunity to talk to railroad workers and others who have had similar incidents/accidents. Mike striving to help people is the most fulfilling part of his job.
Mike has been married for over 22 years to his wife, Jessica, and has three beautiful daughters, Sidney, Anna, and Audrey.
